The St. Michael sculpture – a collaboration between HGH Granite and The Catholic Cemeteries of Hamilton – stands as a symbol of peace and remembrance in the tranquil setting of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Cemetery in Stoney Creek, ON.

Crafted from Imperial Grey granite and set upon a base of South African Brits/Impala granite, the project went through various stages of design – from initial paper and pencil sketches to intricate clay modelling, carried out by our artists overseas, through to 3D scanning, granite sculpting and the final installation, where our craftspeople added the finishing touches by hand.

The sculpture now stands as a testament to the artistic vision of the client and the technical expertise of HGH Granite. We’re honoured to have played a role on this project and believe it will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
