We were proud to play a part in the creation of 160 Front Street West – a striking new 54-storey tower in downtown Toronto, just steps from the CN Tower.

Designed by the internationally renowned firm Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, with landscape work by Quinn Design Associates Inc., the building blends innovative design with public-focused, environmentally conscious planning. Its sculpted, tapered form helps reduce wind loads and improve comfort for pedestrians at street level.

HGH Granite once again partnered with Aldershot Landscape Contractors (a long-standing collaborator), to supply all granite elements for the surrounding streetscape, including benches, curbing, and pavers. Materials included flamed-finish Stanstead Grey and Cambrian Black granite, treated with a combination of leather and waterjet textures to enhance both aesthetics and durability.

The outdoor design incorporates native plants, clean lines, and natural materials, creating a vibrant, walkable space that feels integrated with the urban environment. We’re thrilled to have helped shape this elegant, people-first corner of Toronto’s downtown.
